Mike and Angela had sun, snow, and 90 degree weather all in one day. The butterfly exhibit at Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, Michigan was the backdrop for their intimate winter day. I felt very privileged to photograph this ceremony with their family and a couple close friends present. WAIT-a few butterflies also hovered about for their atrium vows-who has this awesomeness, my clients, that’s who. BIG GRIN. We celebrated afterwards with dinner at an amazing local restaurant Twisted Rooster (if you haven’t been, please go! Everything they serve is double-yum, and from MI companies only). What I enjoyed most was that they never lost sight of what is most important on a wedding day. It was special because it was so incredibly personal and intimate. Their only care was that at the end of a beautiful, cold evening was that they would be husband and wife. P.S. How unreal and gorgeous was the back of her Alfred Angelo dress?! Lace baby! Angela, pretty sure had Mike been sitting when he first saw you, he would have fallen off his chair! Stay tuned for more stunners, they scheduled a spring shoot in their nuptial attire-FIST PUMP.
